Yes. After completing dozens of custom builds for customers, we can confidently say that all Inferno Carbon Fiber steering wheels are crafted using genuine carbon fiber, not hydro-dipped plastic or imitation materials.
We offer several carbon fiber options including:

Each wheel is made using premium automotive-grade materials for durability and performance, and our wheels have been tested to last for years without issues.

Installation typically requires basic tools such as a socket wrench set (commonly 13/16", 15/16", or 24mm), breaker bar, impact wrench or impact drill, and a T30 Torx bit.
You may also need Phillips or flathead screwdrivers or a small airbag removal tool to release the airbag spring clips and remove trim pieces.
For custom wheels for some of our older car models, PB Blaster or penetrating oil may help loosen a steering wheel that is potentially stuck to the steering column.
Most installations can be completed in 30–60 minutes. Professional installation is recommended if you are unfamiliar with steering wheel or airbag removal.
Nope. You get to keep your OEM steering wheel and do whatever you'd like with it.
In all cases, we have our own cores, so no core exchange is required.
We ship a fully built replacement steering wheel that allows you to transfer your existing airbag and controls onto the new wheel.
For certain vehicles we may request a core exchange, but this will be communicated before purchase. This process usually only happens with customers who have classic cars that they'd like us to upgrade.
Typical production time: 3–5 weeks.
Our production timeline beats the industry standard, in which the average custom carbon-fiber steering wheel company takes 6+ weeks for manufacturing alone before shipping.
Highly customized builds may take slightly longer depending on materials, complexity, and demand.
